Dear Barbara, I just wanted to write you a note to say thank you. I've had migraines since I was about 4 years old. Over the years I have taken lots of medications, several of which have been pulled off the market due to significant side effects. (Like heart problems, death...). One of my triggers was perfumes and other chemicals. My doctor's advice was to try to avoid contact with those triggers. That's good advice, but in practice it pretty much means you can't be around people. Since being treated by you, I can walk down the soap aisle at the store. I even walked through the perfume section of a department store without having that familiar old "ice pick sliding in over my eye" feeling. That's an amazing accomplishment. I can go out in public again. I have had very few migraines since being treated by you and when they do appear, they come on slowly enough and with such significantly less pain that conventional pain meds do the job. I went to see Barbara after friends encouraged me to do so because of arthritis in my hands and trigger finger on one hand as well. After 3 or 4 treatments the swelling in my joints went away and so did the trigger finger. No longer do I have to wait for the joints to warm up in the morning before my hands are functional. R.B.
